Graduate Student Application: Navigating Changes with an Admission Officer

For many years, Bentley University has been a place where bright individuals have come to study and grow. We pride ourselves on offering a world-class suite of academic programs and creating a welcoming community for domestic and international students alike. This is possible because we constantly strive to innovate and improve our processes along the way. As part of these efforts, we have revised our graduate application and have introduced a new application portal. BusinessCAS is a centralized application service that helps to make the application process more convenient and seamless for you. Continue reading to learn about the most recent and exciting changes to our graduate student application process.

Applying Through BusinessCAS

All new applicants, with exception of Bentley alumni and employees, need to submit their application through BusinessCAS. To begin an application simply go to Bentley’s apply page and select the semester you intend to start. Once redirected to BusinessCAS, you will need to create an account to continue your application. Proceed through the prompts to build your profile and add the program you wish to apply for. 

Transcript Evaluations – International Applicants

Moving forward Bentley grad school applicants, who received their bachelors degree abroad are required to submit an evaluation from a company, which must be a member of NACES. You can use the World Education Services (WES), Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) or any other company listed on NACES website. Please know that we cannot process your application until the evaluation is completed. This process can take a few weeks, so keep the application deadlines in mind. If your evaluation comes back and is considered equal to a four-year bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited school, you may be eligible for foundation courses waivers. 

Application Fee Discounts

We are always having events and offer one-on-one consultations to help assist students in submitting their applications! If you choose to attend any events or schedule a consultation, you will receive an application fee discount code. Within the “Program Materials” section and then underneath the “Questions” tab, you should see a prompt asking if you received an application discount code from a school. Please click “yes” on this prompt and then a text box will appear, allowing you to input your discount code.
