Bentley female graduate students interested in pursuing technical careers have the chance to be supported by Bentley internal funding to attend the annual GHC conference (the regular ticket price is $199). Under Professor Monica Garfield's mentorship, students have successfully won highly competitive GHC scholarships.
This year's conference featured several academic sessions as well as opportunities to network with professionals and hiring managers. GHC is a great avenue for potential job opportunities, as my peers and I were able to get in front of recruiters at major technology companies.
Professor Haijing Hao, Associate Professor in Computer Information Systems of Bentley University, managed two meetings to guide women students at Bentley to prepare for attending GHC and maximizing our experience. As an MSMA student who will graduate this December, I turned to GHC to connect with hiring managers at companies that fit my specific interests and career goals.
I've also been fortunate to have attended several career fairs hosted by the Pulsifer Career Development Center at Bentley University. Career development resources are available for all Bentley graduate students to match their talents with current workforce needs.
