Book Dedications in Appreciation to Our Graduating Students
May 8, 2017
What would we do without our student assistants? They are here when we open the doors at 7:30 a.m. and close at 2:00 a.m. During exams we leave the overnight operation of the library in their trusted hands. We rely on them to help library users, wrestle with temperamental equipment, shelve and retrieve books (over and over and over again), facilitate Interlibrary Loan requests, and assist with the processing of every book and DVD we purchase. There's so much more we could list, but suffice it to say that the library could not run without them.
It is a Bentley Library tradition to show appreciation to our graduates with a book or film dedication. Each student is invited to select an item that is meaningful to them, which is then affixed with a special bookplate in their name. This year, dedications have been made on behalf of these Class of 2017 graduates:
Adria Clanton-Thuon
Matt Glynn
Brandy Gwin
Analiz Henriquez
Janet Huang
Sully Jimenez
Sam Jung
Grace Litam
Kyla Reslock
Andrew Smith
A display of their selections will be available in the Popular Reading area. You can also view the photo album on Facebook and our Student Employee Dedications Pinterest board.
Congratulations and best wishes to our seniors, and thank you to all of our student employees for your hard work and commitment to the library.
