When we were kids, my older brother and future Bentley graduate spent many hours reading comic books and drawing his own comic book characters. It was the dark ages, and we lived in the suburbs, so Craig got his comic books through mail order. At some point, I started saving my allowance to buy my own comic books. Initially, all I wanted was Disney comic books, but I finally graduated to George Perez’s Wonder Woman.

This semester the library's 24-hour access for final exams begins at 7:30a.m. on Monday, April 28th (the day before Reading Day) and ends at 9:00p.m. on Thursday, May 8th (the last day of exams).

*Please note the weekend exception: The library closes at 9:00 p.m. Saturday night and reopens at 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning, because everyone should take a little break from studying!

Now showing in the McGladrey Art Gallery is a collection of paintings titled “Counterpoise” by artist Jim Cain. The exhibit will be on view April 7 through May 16, 2014. All are invited to attend the opening reception on Wednesday, April 30, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The library is happy to announce that we are now subscribing to Mergent Online, a key resource for company and industry information. Those of you familiar with the Mergent Manuals (formerly Moody's Manuals), know that Mergent provides comprehensive information and data for 15,000 U.S. public companies and 20,000 non-U.S. public companies. Coverage includes inactive companies, on both the U.S. and international exchanges.

InfoTrac has created a collection of databases suited to searching journal articles and reference book chapters on topics in culinary arts, gardening, landscape design, horticulture, hospitality, tourism and leisure.
