Bentley's dress policy for most employees is “business casual.” Employees must wear clothing that is appropriate for the type of work performed. Clothing that is dirty, torn, tight, or revealing is not acceptable. Management may provide feedback to employees who are inappropriately dressed, and employees may be asked to go home to change into appropriate clothes or to not wear certain items to work.
As a business school, we want to set the example for our students who will be entering the workforce and will be expected to know how to dress appropriately. Bentley reserves the right to ask employees who work in highly visible departments or those employees who are in close contact with students or visitors to campus to wear more formal business attire.
