Sustainable Initiatives

Dining provides a trayless dining experience in the 921 to conserve water and the use of green reusable containers to minimize single-use waste. Additionally, unused food is donated to local shelters and food banks to help reduce food waste and support the community.

Meal Plans

Bentley University offers diverse meal plans including block meal plans with a set number of meals per semester. Each plan includes discretionary dollars for use at on-campus dining locations beyond the main dining hall. Some plans also offer options for meal trades at select eateries, ensuring flexibility in dining choices to accommodate various dietary preferences and demonstrating the university's commitment to meeting student needs.

Block plans provide a specific number of meals each semester for use at the 921 Dining Hall or through Meal Trades, if applicable. Unused meals do not roll over and are forfeited at the end of the semester. Use of a Meal Trade negates use of a meal at the 921 Dining Hall within the same meal period.

•    Block 304 includes 5 Meal Trades*, plus $350 discretionary
•    Block 240 includes 5 Meal Trades*, plus $375 discretionary
•    Block 192 includes 5 Meal Trades*, plus $425 discretionary
•    Block 20 Apartment**, plus $750 discretionary

Meal trades will be used to purchase (1) entree, (1) side and (1) drink in designated retail locations. These locations will include all Lacava stations (with the exception of Starbucks Express,) Harry's, and Currito's. Meals are non-transferrable.

*Trades are per week.
**This plan does not include any meal trades. All meals must be used at The 921.

First-year students are required to purchase a Block 304 plan which includes 5 Meal Trades*, plus $350 discretionary funds. This plan allows access to the 921 Dining Hall for every meal during the semester!

The meal plans allow rollover of discretionary funds from the fall to spring semester if you are enrolled in a meal plan.  At the end of the spring semester, remaining discretionary funds will be forfeited.
