The Graduate Admission team interviewed certificate student Jessica Cronin, who currently works for the Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation as a Project Manager. The 2021 Analytics without Borders Conference was hosted by Bentley University virtually on March 26th alongside academic partners Bryant University, Tufts University, and Manning School of Business at UMass Lowell. Co-sponsors included DahShu National Institute of Statistical Sciences and the American Statistical Association. Faculty, students, and industry experts connected with one another and shared their thoughts on applications of data science.

Women's History Month throughout March celebrates women leaders and raises awareness to the persistent gender wage gap in the U.S. and globally. This year, it is particularly meaningful due to the pandemic's disproportionate impacts on women, mothers, BIPOC (black, indigenous, and people of color), and marginalized workers. As a female student studying Marketing and Business Analytics at the Graduate School, I was introduced to a number of avenues to engage in my community and beyond.

The Presidential Search Committee introduced the Bentley community to new President Dr. E. LaBrent “Brent” Chrite this morning at a University-wide Zoom call. President Chrite spoke with great enthusiasm about joining Bentley and goals for the University moving forward. 

Bentley University held a networking event on Friday, February 26th, featuring alumni who work in the entertainment, sports, and music industries. Alumni met 1:1 with Bentley graduate students in virtual break-out rooms (via text chat & video) for 10-minute conversations to network, share career paths, and answer questions related to their roles and industries. Bentley students had an automatic connection because the company representatives were all Bentley alumni.

On February 10, the Pulsifer Career Development Center successfully ran their Spring 2021 Virtual Career Fair, giving graduate students at Bentley a chance to connect with potential employers for jobs and internship opportunities. As business shapes itself to a changing world, the Bentley education adapts and transforms with it.

Bentley University’s Graduate Admission team kicked off the New Year hosting the first of many events scheduled to provide incoming students with knowledge about funding educational opportunities.  The Graduate Assistantship (GA) program is one of many ways students enrolled at Bentley University can enhance their graduate education.  The program’s objective is to give students relevant work experience that will better prepare them for internships and post-graduate employment.
