And just like that, summer session 2023 at Bentley has ended! The library will be closed nights and weekends while classes are not in session - Tuesday, August 22 through Sunday, September 3.  We will also be closed on Monday, September 4 in observance of Labor Day. Regular semester hours will resume with the start of fall classes on Tuesday, September 5.

Dear Bentley Community,

Due to an unexpected staffing issue, the Bentley Library will need to close at 4:30 p.m. today, Thursday June 8. The IT Help Desk will remain open until 8:00 p.m. and can be accessed using the main Help Desk entrance (facing Jennison).

Update 7/11/2023: Summer Session 2 starts today and we have made a slight adjustment to our evening hours. The library will close at 9:00pm Sunday–Thursday until the end of summer session 2. Always remember to check our online calendar before heading in for the most up to date information.

The Bentley Library will be closed on Thursday, May 25, to allow all library staff to participate in our annual Professional Development Day. Regular hours will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, May 26. The IT Help Desk will remain open from 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. and can be accessed using the main Help Desk entrance (facing Jennison). 

When final exams end on May 11th so will the library's regular semester schedule! Please note the following changes to our hours for the remainder of the month of May, including the week of May undergraduate intensive classes and the Memorial Day holiday. Regular summer hours begin when Summer Session I starts on Tuesday, May 30. Extended study hours for final exams will begin on Monday, May 1. Early birds take note that the library will open at 6:30 a.m. on all weekdays, and for our night owls the building will stay open until 2:00 a.m., excluding Friday & Saturday.

As this year’s Spring Day concert is being held on the Library Quad, the library as well as all our building partners (the Writing Center and the IT Help Desk) will be closed on Saturday, April 29th. The IT Help Desk will be providing remote support from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday – visit their website for contact information.
