Beginning January 22, 2013, The McGladrey Art Gallery will host a traveling exhibit honoring the life and work of Helen Suzman, the iconic South African leader and activist. A member of Parliament for 36 years (1953-1989), Suzman stood alone as the governing body’s only member of the Progressive Party -- and sole opposing voice to apartheid -- for 13 years (1961-1974).
...Tutors at the ESOL Center (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and the Writing Center have the knowledge, experience and expertise to help you improve your writing skills. Although the centers don't officially open their doors until next week, they are already accepting appointments online via their websites.

...It just wouldn't feel like a new year here at the Bentley Library if we didn't put together our annual Best Books display. We've spent the past few months poring over our favorite reviewers' year-end lists (The New York Times, NPR, Amazon and The Wall Street Journal, to name a few) to bring you our largest best books display ever - over 200 titles in both print and audiobook format.
