The Bentley University Health Center and the commonwealth of Massachusetts require full-time students to complete a series of health requirements, accessible on our secure Bentley Health Portal.  Additionally, you must waive or enroll in Student Health Insurance. Self-Guided Learning Courses

The transition to college presents many new experiences for students specific to health and belonging. To best prepare you for navigating this exciting transition, we require all new students to complete online courses that focus on creating a healthy campus culture. These self-guided learning courses address critical life skills and issues that will affect your college years and beyond. All new students must complete these courses, with access instructions arriving via email.

Student Health Insurance

The Massachusetts Universal Health Care Act (SHP) requires all students enrolled at least three-quarter time (6.75 credits for graduate students; 9 credits for undergraduate students) to participate in a qualifying U.S.-based health insurance program.

The Tuition Insurance Plan helps students and their families overcome financial losses that may result from events which force students to withdraw from the semester due to a covered medical reason.

The Care Team, a small group of staff members from Student Affairs and Academic Services, works collaboratively with partners across campus to follow up with students who may benefit from support to connect them with the resources or services they need.
