Bentley University’s progressive role in sustainability is being highlighted with a campus event and planned commercial launch of new technologies supported by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center.

Bentley welcomed the Class of 2018 to the university August 28 at a convocation filled with pomp and tradition and uplifting words of wisdom from President Gloria Cordes Larson and digital marketing strategist Shama Hyder, dubbed the “millennial master of the universe” by Fast Company.

Bentley University is named one of the country’s best institutions for undergraduate education in the just-published 2015 edition of The Princeton Review Annual college guide, “The Best 379 Colleges,” (Random House/Princeton Review). Bentley is also named among the guide’s Best Northeastern Colleges.

This spring Bentley’s Dresses to Dreams student organization hosted their annual on campus event for almost one hundred high school girls from the Greater Boston Area.

Bentley University celebrated its Commencement weekend on Saturday, May 17, 2014 with undergraduate speaker Joe Moglia, head football coach and chair of athletics at Coastal Carolina University and chairman of the board of TD Ameritrade, and Linda Zecher, CEO of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.

Bentley University commencement ceremonies will be held on Saturday, May 17. Joe Moglia, chairman of the board of TD Ameritrade and Coastal Carolina University head football coach, will deliver the commencement address at the 95th annual undergraduate ceremony. Linda Zecher, president, CEO and director of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH), will deliver the keynote address at the Graduate School of Business 39th annual ceremony.

The Accessible Icon Project was recently launched on the Bentley University campus in an effort to put a new face on accessible parking spaces for individuals with disabilities, as the International Symbol of Access is transformed from a passive stick figure into an active, engaged image.

Bloomberg Business has released its 2014 “Best Undergraduate Business Schools” rankings and Bentley University stands at #20 overall.

Bentley University students are finding ways to boost retail sales for Kidz b Kidz, a nonprofit that brings children together to create art to benefit sick children. Things got creative as students designed artwork that was featured on cookies sold by KBK partner Wicked Good Cookies at Bentley’s Black United Fashion Show in early March.

Bentley University announces that Santander Bank, N.A. has launched a new three-year agreement with Bentley that will continue the Santander Universities Study Abroad Scholarship Fund. President and CEO of Santander US, Roman Blanco, and Bentley President Gloria Larson announced the agreement during a signing ceremony on campus on March 20, 2014.
