NABA X Bentley Business Bowl

Judges

A panel of judges, drawn from alumni and the professional and corporate community, will evaluate each team’s presentation. The cases will be provided to the judges in advance of the day of the event.

The following criteria will be used to evaluate team presentations:

•        Critical Issues: Did the team clearly and appropriately identify the critical issues raised by the case?
•        Evidence: The team’s analysis showed excellent use of evidence, including supplemental research as appropriate.
•        Recommendations: The recommendations clearly addressed the critical issues. Recommendations were feasible, creative, and appropriate.
•        Q&A: Answers during the Q & A portion were clear, thoughtful, and relevant.  All team members participated in the presentation.
•        Overall Impression: The team gave a credible, persuasive, and professional presentation.

Registration

To register as a JUDGE, please contact event organizers at GA_nababusinessbowl@bentley.edu or complete this form.  You do not have to be a Bentley alumnus to participate.  (Note: alumni who graduated less than three years ago cannot judge the competition, but are welcome to attend the awards webinar.)

There will be an information session for judges on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 @ 6:30pm via Zoom.  The Zoom details will be mailed out to the judges.  Timekeepers, and moderators will also have an information session time TBD prior to the event.  We ask if available to please try to attend as we will go over the process of judging, scoring, and other important process details. The events will be recorded and sent to all judges, timekeepers and moderators for those unable to attend.  Judges will be provided via email a judge's packet with instructions, a link to the electronic scoresheet.  Those judging in person will receive their room assignments and those judging virtually will be sent a Zoom link with specific instructions close to the event day.

The NABA X Bentley Business Bowl is co-sponsored by the Student Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) and the Dean of Business office at Bentley University.
