You will be asked to register for your courses shortly after submitting all other application information. Fall term students register in late March/early April; Spring term students register in late October/early November. You will receive an email containing detailed registration instructions, including registration dates and a step-by-step guide. Until then, the following general information might be helpful:
- To learn about our potential courses, please visit the Registrar's website. If courses for the semester you will attend are not yet available, you can review course offerings from the current semester to obtain information. To obtain a syllabus, please visit Bentley Blackboard and choose Guest Access. Next, open the black Courses tab, which will provide access to most course syllabi. Syllabi are helpful when obtaining course approval at your home institution.
- The normal academic load at Bentley is 5 courses (a total of 15 credits). Exchange students at Bentley are required to take a minimum of 4 courses per semester. If you wish to enroll in more than 5 courses, you may obtain permission to add an additional class after you arrive on Bentley's campus. Please note that Bentley does not recommend taking the extra course-load because it requires a significant time commitment.
- At the end of the semester, we will send two copies of your transcript to your home university -- one to be kept on file and one for you to keep. The transcripts will arrive approximately one month after you complete your final exams.
