Lester as the keynote speaker at the 27th annual celebration breakfast in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Lester, associate vice president of humanities & arts for the Office of Knowledge Enterprise Development and Foundation Professor of English at Arizona State University (ASU), is known for his teaching and scholarship in African American literary and cultural study.

The Bentley campus community will come together for a student-led vigil to remember the 26 victims of the tragic school shooting. It will be held on the evening of December 17th at 9:15 p.m. in the Back Bay Rooms in the Student Center.

The popular event celebrates Bentley's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) community and honors individuals who proactively foster inclusion on campus.
